This coconut is thick slices of white meat of fresh and mature coconut, full fat, and toasted to the desired color.
Coconut as a flavor can be a bit subdued. Adding a pound to a batch isnt that extreme. Can add during the boil, but adding during fermentation is better. Over-boiled coconut will create some off-flavors. Fermentation has the possibility to eat up all the flavor so add it during secondary.
USE: Add late in the boil, 10 min or flameout is ideal. Best to add during secondary fermentation for as long as a few weeks. Check flavor every week or more until you like where its at.
