Safbrew BE-256 (formerly Abbaye Ale Yeast) is a speciality yeast that produces superb flavor profiles when used for the production of a varied range of top fermented special beers. Specifically recommended to brew abbey type beers known for their high alcohol content. It is also recommended for brewing farmhouse style and Belgian ales as well as refreshing session beers and stronger Abbaye styles and IPAs. It ferments very fast and reveals subtle and well-balanced aromas. Also recommended for bottle-conditioning of beers. Excellent performance in beers with alcohol contents of up to 7.5% ABV Can ferment up to 11.5% ABV.
