Pin Lock Keg System with Picnic Tap

You`re probably going to buy a keg system once in your life, and if you`re like us, you`ll want the best.  That`s exactly what we offer.   Our keg system is made of the finest components we can offer, and feature subtle yet important quality differences.  Each standard setup has one gas component and one or many liquid dispensers. 

Features Include:

Quality tanks and food-grade CO2: On the gas side, we provide a new 5 lb. empty CO2 tank for shipped kits.  In-store, you can opt for a like-new tank filled with 5 lbs. of food-grade CO2.  Why food-grade?  The difference is in the gas manufacturing process.  Food-grade gas provides safety and peace of mind that you are carbonating with the purest and safest gas available. You have the option of purchasing this kit with or without a CO2 tank - see dropdown on the product page for options. 

Fine American Regulators: Our system features an American-made regulator with input and output pressure gauges, a MFL shutoff with check valve.  Why American made?  Because we know the manufacturers, the suppliers and assemblers.  These gauges are rock-solid and easy to use.  The MFL shutoff allows you to easily turn on and off the gas to your beverage.  The check valve feature ensures that beer will not back up into your gas line (in the event you run out of gas!).

Manifolds: Manifolds distribute gas to muti-keg systems.  Our aluminum manifolds feature the same quality check valve shutoffs as our regulator, offering the peace of mind that your gas lines will remain beer-free.  

Tubing:  This system includes Bevlex, the gold standard of beverge tubing.  Besides being FDA-approved, this 3/16 ID by 7/16 OD tubing can handle the pressure associated with carbonation on both the gas and liquid sides of the system.  Others offer standard siphon tubing - compare and you`ll quickly see the difference!

Connectors: Unlike the competition, we believe in using screw-on MFL connectors, where others just use barbs and single use crimp clamps.  Rather than just install barbs, the MFLs allow you to easily connect and disconnect tubing without ruining airtight clamp connections.  The screw-on connectors provide easy hose changes on both the gas and liquid side.  Quality and flexibility - its what we believe in!

Dispensing and Keg Choices

Picnic Tap or Shank and Faucet: With our keg systems you get a choice of dispensing through an in-fridge picnic tap (this product), or through a stainless shank and tap, which you would install through a refridgerator door or fridgetop setup.  We include top-of-the-line stainless Perlick forward sealing faucets with our systems.  Perlick features all-stainless, food grade components and their patented forward sealing design.  The forward seal ensures beer remains fresh between the keg and tap control. 

Competing economy stainless and chrome plated faucets trap beer between the keg and tap control, creating the perfect breeding ground for mold and bacteria.  Even worse, chrome plating flakes over time and dispenses into your beer.  Check out Perlick faucets and you`ll find why we feature them! 

Ball Lock or Pin Lock Kegs:  You have a choice of ball lock or pin lock systems.  Ball lock kegs are either new or used, while pin locks are exclusively used tanks.  Please note that tanks are sold separately.
