Oak is seasoned naturally for three years & then fire roasted by hand. These cubes allow winemakers to impart terrific flavor and aroma to wines fermented and or aged in glass carboys plastic buckets or even steel tanks. One feature of using oak cubes is that you can create your own custom blend of different toasts and woods and they can be added during fermentation or aging. The Oak Cubes are crafted Hungarian oak staves & come in three toast levels medium (light) house toast (medium plus) & heavy (dark). Sold in 3 ozpackages. The recommended usage is 2.5 - 3 oz per 5 gallons & 5 oz per 10 gallons of wine & leave for a minimum of 2 months.
