A simple plastic wedge that you can use to prop up one side of the carboy so that you can extend a racking tube into the deep end while making transfers. When doing this the sediment stays on the slight incline that is created until the wine or beer level has dropped below the level of the sediment. The weight of the sediment will then start to slowly slide toward the deep end - giving you adequate time to stop the transfer without picking up any great amount of sediment.
