Biolees is a natural yeast derivative nutrient for the improvement of wine must and wine. Biolees is a unique nutrient that incorporates inert yeast and was chosen for its positive effects on perceived sweetness and overall positive sensory impact. When used, it has the selective effect of eliminating specific harsh phenolics while improving the balance of treated wine.
Biolees is not a substitute for DAP (inorganic nitrogen) or other fermentation nutrients.
USE: Mix 6 grams or one package into 5 oz. of wine. Once dissolved, stir back into wine. Add as desired either during fermentation or at the end of malolactic fermentation.
NOTE: Wine must be racked within 2 weeks of adding Biolees.
