Belgian Chocolate Stout

This kit uses a limited run yeast from White Labs that was found on Peruvian cocoa beans, so why not make a chocolate stout with it?! Belgian Stouts are a sub style combining the yeast character of Belgian Dark Strong Ales with the roasted malt flavor and bitterness levels of the Stout family. This kit includes cocoa husks to mash/steep with the grains for a rich dark chocolate flavor. But if you are a true chocoholic you can add on regional cocoa nibs for more flavor!

All of our Beer and Wine Hobby craft brewing kits are proven quality brews. They are pre-packaged and pre-measured complete with instructions ready for use. All kits yield 5 gallons. Kits are available with either Ready to Pitch Liquid Yeast for your ease and convenience or Dry Yeast which you may prefer in the summer months because it ships well.
