Baltic Detour Lager or Ale

This Extract Kit is based on the Baltic Porter, a tradition beer brewed for countries bordering the Baltic Sea. Derived from English Porters with influence from Russian Imperial Stouts. Baltic Detour is a big beer with a smooth rich malty sweetness in aroma & flavor. Hops included are for balancing out flavors. A complex blend of deep malt, dried fruit, and boozy warmth to keep you going through the colder months.

Style: 9C Baltic Porter

Fermentation Temp: 50 - 55F (Lager) or 62 - 70F (Ale)

ABV: 8%

Your craft brew kit includes specialty grains, malt extracts, hops, and additives.  

Be sure to add one large muslin bag to your order; it is required but NOT included!

Kits are available with either Ready to Pitch Liquid Yeast for your ease and convenience or Dry Yeast which you may prefer in the summer months because it ships well.
